Also, in terms of future - seems like a win for the CROs. AI to discover it but you still need CROs to develop them and trial esp. if you don’t have large pharma infrastructure.

The dye companies moved to Basel (in part) to avoid French/German patent laws in the 1800s - which among other factors - gave birth to Roche and Novartis today.
Are there good resources (books, articles, etc) that you would recommend for learning about the origins/history of the most relevant pharma cos? Thank you in advance
